A Day Late... but what a story.
I love doing portraits and drawing people, but seem to have been doing less than I’d like to lately. (I have been doing more advertising and corporate work, as well as digital stuff...) So I am creating a portrait a day for a month to see what happens. Busier days will limit size and scope, of course - but at least one finished piece a day. And by posting this, I can trust you fellow Drawgers to cast nasty aspersions my way if in a month I have created nothing but 3 thumbnail sketches and some lame, but colorful, excuses. Talk about pressure(!)... I’ll post ‘em all in a month.
I intend to revamp my portraits portfolio over the coming months, so hopefully this will be a good first step.

John, let me be the first [of many] to point out that it was not EASTER Seals but rather NAVY Seals. Damn good story though. Damn! 3 head shots. Probably from a 55MM sniper rifle...Pink Haze...looking forward to your stuff...

Nice one John.
[but if you're setting out to do a portrait a day, you have to post them every day, not all at once at the end
of the month - cause you could cheat that way]
I'm just saying.

I think the NAVY seals did their dirty work on EASTER. Close enough for this boy.
I love this style John.

Robd ... and therein lies the Brilliance of the Posted Title.... Man! ... "Easter" "Seals"....
Barry -nbsptherein lies the Brilliance of posting at some future date. Cheatin' room.
JDF: How do the mafia guys say it? 'One in the hat' for each??
Brian Stauffer April 14, 2009
I guess you could say that they were well-trained seals.
