Here's a shot taken from the traffic-cam to give us a quick indication as to how the traffic is starting to flow this Memorial Day weekend ... Remember to get an early start, cause 'As California goes, so goes the nation'....

fun image John.

It's bumper to bumper but not a single fatality yet. Still, I think I'll stay home this weekend and do yard work.
Jim PaillotMay 23, 2008
Really terrific! Love the palette. I'll be staying close to home. Thanks for the traffic report.
Bob StaakeMay 23, 2008
I'm from Los Angeles. Add another 23,864,032 cars and then we can talk.
J.D. KingMay 23, 2008
Veddy good, suh!
Scott BakalMay 23, 2008
Yup...New York is a good runner up for that. During ANY holiday trying to get off Long Island is like trying to fit a watermelon through a straw. A few million people trying to use 12 two or three lane bridges and tunnels....you get the picture...
Nice painting John!
Hal MayforthMay 23, 2008
Well done, John. I agree with Jim about your palette. And thanks for reminding me it's Memorial Day weekend. Sometimes these things get away from me.
Adam McCauleyMay 23, 2008
John, what Bob said, except put an additional 45,698,234 cars between San Francisco and Sacramento in addition to the LA numbers.
John DykesMay 23, 2008
Okay - I'll go ahead and add the additional 45,698,234 and 23,864,032 vee-hickles, but it'll take me the better part of the weekend. At least it'll keep me off the roads.
Leo EspinosaMay 23, 2008
John, I'm really from Hawaii so please add 30,134,564 cargo vessels all over the Pacific while you're at it.
Mahalo nui loa!
PS: nice pallet
